Piaggio USA, a subsidiary of the Italian Vespa motor scooter manufacturer,
has selected The Business Assistant as the dealer management system of choice
for their new Vespa boutiques. Made famous in the 1953 film "Roman Holiday"
with Audrey Hepburn and Gregory Peck, the Vespa scooter left the US in the mid-80's
due to emissions regulatations. The new Vespa's are moving back in with a vengence
in upscale 'boutiques' nationwide. "We were more than pleased to be a part of Vespa's
return to the US. We're looking forward to adding value and increasing efficiencies
for the entire Vespa franchise." says Jim Thompson CEO.
