SofTek Software first to Embrace Partnetweb:
Youngstown Ohio (June 10, 2002) - The latest version of The Business Assistant 9.0 is in final
stages of beta testing and includes a new parts ordering interface to Partsnetweb. The new
interface will enable retailers to easily place their orders electronically through the Internet.
"These types of conveniences and efficiencies are important to our customers and to Parts
Unlimited so it was a high priority for our new release," says SofTek's CEO Jim Thompson.
Dealers using The Business Assistant 9.0 can send their orders directly through the Partsnetweb
dealer Internet site, thus eliminating repetitive hand entry of part numbers and quantities. The
new, efficient interface was recently tested and confirmed operational with the Parts Unlimited
staff. In addition to the Partsnetweb interface, the new version of SSI's premium point of sale
application enhances the application's accounting functions, increases reporting functionality and
includes the ability to interface directly to the retailer's web store. The new version of TBA is
expected to be available for shipment via CD in the third quarter 2002.
